Winona, Minn. - The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse men's tennis team improved to 6-9 on the season with a 6-3 win over the University of Northwestern (Minn.) Wednesday afternoon in the Winona Tennis Center. Northwestern (Minn.) drops to 7-8 on the year. 

UWL took a 2-1 lead after doubles as Alex Moore/Lincoln Maher (#1) and Brady Horstmann/Luke Hinchcliffe (#3) earned victories. 

The Eagles secured the dual win with victories in four of the six singles matches. Cole Contardi (#2), Horstmann (#3), Maher (#4) and Jack Hehli (#5) earned wins.
