Owatonna, Minn. - The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse men's tennis team improved to 6-8 on the season with a 7-2 win over Hamline University (Minn.) Friday. Hamline (Minn.) drops to 4-7 on the year.

The Eagles took two of the three doubles matches to start the dual. Alex Moore/Grant Counts earned the win at No. 1 doubles while Alex Unger/Maverick Kulmaczewski picked up the victory at No. 3. 

In singles play, UWL took five of the six matches. Moore (#1), Lincoln Maher (#3), Unger (#4), JT Dillon (#5) and Kulmaczewski (#6) earned wins in straight sets.

UWL returns to action Friday, April 15 hosting UW-Whitewater at 3 p.m. at Green Island Tennis Park. It will be the Eagles' home opener as well as their New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) opener.
