Naperville, Ill. - The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse set a school and facility record in winning the distance medley relay at the North Central College (Ill.) F. Lee Slick Invitational Friday night at the Al B. Carius Track.

Charlie Handrick,
Brian Hansford and
Joshua Schraeder won the distance medley relay with a school record time of 9:55.25. The quartet broke the school record of 9:56.64 set by Tyler Heinz,
Nick Tehan, David Stilin and Jamie Bottcher in 2013.Â
Hinz, Handrick, Hansford and Schraeder also set a Al B. Carius Track record Friday.Â
UWL placed ninth as a team with 10.0 points.Â
UWL returns to action Friday, February 22 at the WIAC Championships at UW-Whitewater.
