Friday Results

Rochester, Minn. - The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse women's swimming & diving team is tied for sixth-place after the first day of competition Friday night in the Rochester (Minn.) Invitational at the Rochester Recreation Center.  The Eagles have 118.0 points, tied with Minnesota State University Moorhead for sixth-place.  Minnesota State University, Mankato leads with 204.0 points. 

A total of 14 teams are competing. 

In Friday's action, UWL's 400 medley realy was ninth (3:58.91) while the 800 freestyle relay was 11th (7:58.95). 

Ellie Szczupakiewicz (5:16.18) advanced to this weekend's 500-yard freestyle consolation finals after finishing 10th in Friday's preliminaries.
