Madison, Wis. - Each week during the 2019-20 academic year, the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) will feature two student-athletes (one male and one female) from one of its eight institutions for a "Student-Athlete Spotlight" Q & A segment. The segments will be posted every Thursday and individuals are selected by the institution.  The WIAC Student-Athlete Spotlights are presented by Culver's.

Why did you choose UW-La Crosse?
   I chose La Crosse because the town itself is awesome. Also, because the coaching staff and teammates are great as well.
 
What other clubs/organizations on campus are you involved in?
    I take part in on campus research in the psychology department.

What do you like most about competing in the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference and being a NCAA Division III student-athlete?
    I enjoy the challenge of each WIAC game because everyone is dangerous. The best part about being a student athlete is learning leadership skills that can be used on and off the court.

  Not a specific moment, but being a part of building our teams culture has been really special.

   Hang out and watch movies or eat food.

If you could change one rule about your sport, what would it be?
   I would change getting fouled behind the three-point line to an "and two" rather than an "and one".
 
The best thing about your hometown is?
   Iowa football games.
 
What is your dream job? 
   To be a pop star, but also a basketball coach.
 
Three things on your "bucket list"?
   - Visit Greece
   - Own a goat
   - Attend the Olympics

Do you have any pre-game/pre-event rituals? If so, what are they?
   I wear the same socks for every game.
 
What is your biggest "pet-peeve"?
   Getting behind a slow car.
 
What is your greatest fear?
  Not completing my bucket list, and regret.
