Saint Mary's (Minn.) Fall Invitational Results
Winona, Minn. - The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse golf team finished third at the Saint Mary's University (Minn.) Fall Invitational Sunday afternoon at The Bridges Golf Course. The Eagles finished with a two-day total of 732. Macalester College (Minn.) took the team title with a score of 707 while Simpson College (Iowa) was second with 730.
The College of St. Scholastica (Minn.) placed fourth (749), Augsburg University (Minn.) fifth (760) and Saint Mary's (Minn.) sixth (764).
Chloe Volden led UWL in the individual results with a fourth-place tie (91-85=176).
Sarah Faanes tied for ninth (92-91=183) for the Eagles while
Leah Sindberg tied for 13th (94-92=186).
Hannah Ottevaere tied for 20th (102-89=191) while
Maggie Lang finished 23rd (98-96=194).
Competing as an individual, the Eagles'
Natali Fellows tied for 15th (84-103=187).
Hannah Gordon of Simpson (Iowa) took the individual title (82-82=164). A total of 35 golfers competed.
UWL returns to action Sunday-Monday, September 23-24 at the UW-Whitewater Invitational at The Oaks Golf Course in Cottage Grove, Wisconsin.
