First Round Results
Reedsburg, Wis. - The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse golf team is tied for seventh-place after the first round of the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) Championship (Presented by Culver's) Friday afternoon at The Reedsburg Country Club. The Eagles finished with a team score of 366.
UW-Stout leads the conference championships at 314 followed by UW-Whitewater second at 315 and UW-Oshkosh third at 321. UW-River Falls is fourth (336), UW-Eau Claire fifth (341) and UW-Stevens Point sixth (349). UW-Platteville is tied with UWL for seventh (366).

Sarah Faanes and
Hannah Ottevaere are tied for 37th (90) overall while
Chloe Volden is tied for 41st (91). The Eagles'
Leah Sindberg is tied for 48th (95) while
Natali Fellows is tied for 55th (98) and
Leah Kroening tied for 57th (99).
Ashley Hofmeister from UW-Whitewater leads after the first day with a round of 75. A total of 61 runners competed in Friday's first round.
Action continues with the second round Saturday, October 6. Flighted tee times start at 10 a.m. The championship concludes Sunday, October 7.
