Oshkosh, Wis. - The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse men's tennis team fell 6-3 to UW-Eau Claire Friday afternoon at Oshkosh North High School.  The Eagles drop to 11-8 on the season while the Blugolds improve ot 17-5.  UW-Eau Claire is ranked 17th in this week's Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Central Region.

UWL's Tony Mirasola and Kyle Wogahn earned wins in singles play Friday.  Mirasola earned a 3-6, 6-2, 7-6 victory over Kyle Hoffmann at No. 1 singles while Wogahn picked up a 6-0, 6-2 victory over Michael Mauthe at No. 2 singles.

Mirasola/Wogahn earned the Eagles' win in doubles play, defeating Hoffmann/Mauthe by the score of 8-6.  Hoffmann/Mauthe are ranked 13th in the ITA Central Region Doubles.

UWL wraps up its season Saturday, April 23 with a pair of matches in Oshkosh.  The Eagles face UW-Whitewater at 9 a.m. and UW-Oshkosh at 1 p.m.  UW-Whitewater is 16th in the ITA National Rankings and fourth in the ITA Central Region.
