Box Score Winona, Minn. - The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse soccer team fell 1-0 in double overtime to Saint Mary's University (Minn.) Wednesday night at Ochrymowycz Field. The Eagles drop to 3-6-5 on the season while the Cardinals improve to 5-9-1. UW-L now leads the all-time series, 8-5-1. The Eagles had won the previous six meetings with the Cardinals.
Emily Loof scored the only goal of the match at 100:11 assisted by Caroline Blackwood. It was Loof's 12th goal of the season.
UW-L finished with six shots in the match, including one on goal from
Kelly Denk. Denk and
Sarah Jacobs each had two shots.
Saint Mary's (Minn.) totaled 13 shots, including six on goal. Loof and Kelli Harstad each finished with two shots on goal.

Ashley Tracy recorded five saves while the Cardinals' Miranda Halling had one.
