Box Score Stevens Point, Wis. - The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse fell 3-0 (27-25, 25-21, 25-21) to UW-Eau Claire in the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) Tournament Third-Place match Saturday afternoon in Berg Gymnasium. The Eagles finish their season at 15-15 overall while the Blugolds improve to 21-15 on the year.
Lauren Probst led UW-L with 16 kills Saturday while
Crystal Ziegler finished with 11 and
Jill Entinger six.
Cassie Raduka recorded 36 assists as the Eagles hit .123.
Probst recorded a double-double with a team-high 11 digs while
Courtney Geisler finished with eight and
Ashley Entinger seven.
Jill Entinger recorded 4.0 total blocks while
Kayla Ashland finished with 3.0.
Kelly Schuh led UW-Eau Claire with 13 kills while Keagan Kinsella finished with 11. Maggie Holcombe recorded 41 assists as the Blugolds hit .244.
Lauren Sutherland had 18 digs with Katrina Raskie finishing with 12. Kelly Riesgraf had 6.0 blocks and Alexis Wong 4.0.
UW-L wraps up its season at 15-15 overall and 5-3 in the WIAC. The Eagles, the WIAC Tournament's fourth-seed, opened the tournament with a 3-2 (25-23, 21-25, 13-25, 26-24, 16-14) win over fifth-seeded UW-Oshkosh November 5. UW-L then fell 3-0 (25-17, 25-20, 25-19) to top-seeded and 19th-ranked UW-Stevens Point in the tournament semifinals November 8.
