Amber Grosse of
Madison (Edgewood) has been voted to the 2025-26 National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division III Women's Track & Field/Cross Country Academic All-America® Third Team, selected by the College Sports Communicators (CSC).
Grosse is one of 15 student-athletes selected to the third team in earning her first career CSC Academic All-America® award. She is a two-year member of the CSC Academic All-District® Team.
A biology major and nutrition minor with a 3.85 grade point average, Grosse has been a member of UWL's Dean's List and U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Academic Team four years. She is a three-year member of the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) Scholastic Honor Roll. Grosse has been a member of the National Honor Society and National Society of Leadership and Success.
Amber Grosse set the school record in the heptathlon.
She is a member of UWL's Pre-Dental Club. Grosse has volunteered for the WAFER Food Pantry and Hixon 50 Trail as well as at St. James School and Edgewood (Wis.) High School.
Grosse captured the pentathlon title at the 2026 WIAC Indoor Championship to be named an all-conference first team selection. She placed fourth in the pentathlon at the 2026 NCAA Division III Championships to earn All-America accolades. Grosse, a team captain during her senior season, was a 2026 USTFCCCA Indoor All-North Region choice in the 60-meter hurdles.
She set a school record in the heptathlon with 5,190 points at the Esten Challenge. Grosse won the heptathlon at the 2024 WIAC Championships to earn All-WIAC First Team honors. Grosse was an NCAA Division III Second Team All-America in the heptathlon in 2025 after finishing 10th.
She earned 2026 USTFCCCA Outdoor All-North Region accolades in the 100-meter hurdles, long jump and heptathlon.
The Division III Academic All-America® program is being financially supported by the NCAA Division III national governance structure to assist the College Sports Communicators with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2025-26 Division III Academic All-America® program.
