2015 Women’s Indoor Track and Field
UW-La Crosse women’s indoor track and field team captured its first-ever NCAA Division III Championship in 2015 at the JDL Fast Track in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, scoring 55.0 points to edge out second-place UW-Oshkosh with 49.0 team points. Head coach Pat Healy led UW-La Crosse to the title after five second-place finishes. Bria Halama won the national title in the triple jump while Claire Gordee, Kaitlyn Francour, Halama and Shannon Klein captured the 4x400-meter relay. 

 

Individual All-America honors included Bailey Alston (fifth in long jump, seventh in triple jump); Gordee (third in 60-meter hurdles); Meg Heafy (second in 200-meter dash); Addie Korb (sixth in 60-meter hurdles); Jaime Ludwigson (fifth in 60-meter hurdles) and Laura Mead (fifth in 3,000 and 5,000-meter run).

2023 Women’s Indoor Track and Field
UW-La Crosse women’s indoor track and field team captured the 2023 NCAA Division III national championship at the Birmingham CrossPlex in Birmingham, Alabama. It was the first national title for UW-La Crosse head coach Nickolas Davis. The Eagles produced multiple All-Americas and an individual national champion. The team scored 59.5 points edging out Washington University in St. Louis (Mo.), who finished runner-up, with 54.0 points. UW-La Crosse’s Skye Digman captured the national championship in the 20-pound weight throw. She was also fourth in the shot put to earn All-America accolades.

Other individual All-America honors included Araceli De Leo Lopez (seventh in pole vault); Maddie Hansen (seventh in mile run); Ainsley Hansen (second in high jump); Lauren Jarrett (sixth in 60-meter dash); Emma Lawrence (second in 200-meter dash, third in 60-meter hurdles); Ashley O’Connell (fourth in pole vault) and Macie Todd (fourth in high jump). Mara Schroeder, Melanie Kunze, Morgan Jennings and Emily Dawidowich were fourth in the 4x400-meter relay to earn All-America recognition while Julia Anderson, Kunze, Greta Koehler and Emma Malooly finished seventh in the distance medley relay.
