UWL Uncaged Eagle Open Results
La Crosse, Wis. - The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse women's track & field competed in a pair of meets on Friday. The Eagles competed at the University of St. Francis (Ill.) Fighting Chance Invitational and hosted the UWL Uncaged Eagle Open at Roger Harring Stadium at Veterans Memorial Field Sports Complex. No team scores were recorded.
At the St. Francis (Ill.) Invitational, UWL's
Brooklyn Luebke won the 5,000-meter run (16:54.03).
UWL won six events at the Uncaged Eagle Open, including a pair of field titles.
Mackenzey Kronberg won the triple jump (38-7) with
Regan Scott capturing the long jump (19-2).
On the track, the Eagles won four events.
Anna Plautz took the 200-meter dash (24.33),
Alli Thomas the 800-meter run (2:13.43),
Annika Elliott the 1,500-meter run (4:33.59) and
Bryn Sato the 3,000-meter steeplechase (10:48.81). Â

Other top eight finishers in the field events included
Madison Habberstad second (13-5 ¼) and
Jackie Bergeron eighth (12-1 ½) in the pole vault. Habberstad broke her own school record of 13-4 ½ set earlier this season.
Along with Kronberg winning the triple jump, the Eagles'
Emily Blaskowski finished third (38-0) and
Jaden Hackel sixth (37-8). UWL Had five of the top seven finishers in the long jump. Scott was first (19-2) while
Jenna Miller finished second (18-6),
Ashley Davies third (18-5 ¼),
Josie Blum fourth (18-1 ¾) and
Jenna Richgels seventh (17-11).
UWL's
Izzy Bender finished third (5-4 ¼),
Madison McCullum fourth (5-4 ¼) and
Ainsley Hansen tied for fifth (5-2 ¼) in the high jump.Â
Ella Puls was second (177-4) and
Jadyn Roden third (177-3) in the hammer throw with
Lydia Delene eighth (135-2) in the discus throw.Â

Alyssa Pierce finished fourth (44-0 ½) in the shot put and
Addy Moseler eighth (42-9).
On the track, UWL's 4x100-meter relay of
McKenna Sedlacek,
Marley McIntyre,
Taylor Molling and
Stella Arn were second (47.13) while 4x400-meter relay of
Brie Eckerman,
Kylie Stockton,
Gretchen McNeal and Thomas were fourth (3:54.56).
Six of the top eight finishes in the 200-meter dash represented UWL with Plautz first (24.33),
Makenna Zak third (24.73),
Andie Otto fourth (24.75), Julia Yang fifth (24.80), McIntyre seventh (24.98) and
Anika Reiland eighth (24.99). Plautz was also third (12.00) in the 100-meter dash while Yang finished fourth (12.93), Zak sixth (12.19), Sedlacek seventh (12.220 and Reiland eighth (12.25).
Zoe Lain finished third (2:15.38), Stockton fourth (2:15.39),
Sydney Dee seventh (2:21.16) in the 800-meter run with
Madison Twarling fifth (4:42.36),
Joelle Duty seventh (4:44.87) and
Olivia Heilman eighth (4:47.52) in the 1,500-meter run.

Olivia Navin was third (14.42), Eckerman fourth (14.54) and
Megan Zemke fifth (14.64) in the 100-meter hurdles.
Sami Miller placed third (11:08.65) in the 3,000-meter steeplechase with
Ella Woodworth third (18:22.88) in the 5,000-meter run.
UWL returns to action at the St. Norbert College (Wis.) Last Chance Meet on Friday, May 11 at 5 p.m.
