Whitewater, Wis. - The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse women's track & field team completed action at the UW-Whitewater Leonard "Squig" Converse Invitational & Multi Saturday in Kachel Fieldhouse. No team scores were recorded.
UWL competed in the pentathlon on Friday with the Eagles having four of the top-seven finishers as
Madeline Thoreson won the title with 3,322 points.
Audrey Braun was second (3,269) with
Emma Ridgway sixth (2,810) and
Amber Grosse seventh (2,775).

In Saturday's action,
Madison Habberstad set a new school record in winning the pole vault with a mark of 13-2 ¼. She broke the school record of 13-1 ½ set by
Araceli De Leo Lopez in 2025.
The Eagles'
Jackie Bergeron was second (12-7 ½) in the pole vault Saturday with De Leo Lopez third (12-3 ½) and
Emily Shafron and
Nora Waddell tied for fourth (12-3 ½).
UWL's
Ella Puls won the weight throw (56-5) Saturday with
Jadyn Roden placed second (55-2) and
Addy Moseler fifth (49-1).
On the track,
Maya Evans captured the 60-meter dash (7.90). Evans was also second (18-6 ½) in the long jump as
Jenna Miller finished fourth (18-1 ½) and
Ava Foley placed fifth (17-11).
Other top-six finishers in the field events included
Madison McCullum second (5-5 ¾),
Izzy Bender fourth (5-3 ¾) and
Ainsley Hansen fifth (5-3 ¾) in the high jump.
Mackenzey Kronberg placed second (37-4) and
Jaden Hackel fifth (36-1 ½) in the triple jump.
In the shot put,
Lydia Delene placed third (42-10 ¼), Moseler fifth (41-2 ¼) and Roden sixth (41-0 ½).
UWL returns to action Saturday, February 7 hosting the Mark Guthrie Invitational at 1 p.m.
