Lincoln, Neb. - The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse gymnastics team opened the 2026 season at the Ameritas Master's Classic hosted by the University of Nebraska on Saturday afternoon.

VAULT
- As a team, the Eagles scored a 48.250 on the vault as Missouri had the top team score with a 49.300.
- Grace Kehr and Paige Breckwoldt were the top scorers on the vault for the Eagles as they recorded a 9.700 to finish tied for 13th.
- Next for the Eagles was Lily Millington and Sarah Pastore as they both scored a 9.650.
- Hannah Horton of Missouri won the event with a 9.975.
UNEVEN PARALLEL BARS
- Madalyn McCormick was the top performer on the uneven parallel bars for the Eagles as she scored a 9.600.
- Right behind McCormick was Claire Robbins with a 9.550 while Lauren Main recorded a 9.500.
- Kimarra Echols of Missouri won the event with a 9.925
- As a team, the Eagles scored a 46.700 while the Tigers of Missouri recorded a 49.225.
BALANCE BEAM
- McCormick led the way for the Eagles on the balance beam as she tied for fourth individually with a 9.850.
- Lucy Warren was next in 11th with a 9.750 while Robbins was tied for 12th with a 9.725.
- Addison Lawrence of Missouri scored a 9.950 to finish first individually.
- UWL finished on the balance beam with a team score of 48.775 while Missouri led the way with a 49.400.
FLOOR EXERCISE
- As a team, the Eagles scored a 48.375 on the vault as Missouri had the top team score with a 49.350.
- Paige Breckwoldt was the top performer on the floor as she scored a 9.775 to finish tied for 10th.
- Next for the Eagles was Adeline Snyder in 13th place with a 9.675 followed by Kehr and Mckenna Myers in 14th with a 9.650.
- Horton won her second event of the day as she scored a 9.925.
