Sprouse Named WCGA Regional Administrator of the Year

La Crosse, Wis. - University of Wisconsin-La Crosse Assistant Athletic Director for Facilities and Events Carly Sprouse has been selected the 2024-25 Division III Administrator of the Year by the Women's Collegiate Gymnastics Association.

UWL hosted the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) Championships on March 8. The conference championships also serves as the National Collegiate Gymnastics Association (NCGA) West Regional. This years championship/regional featured nine teams with five competing in the first session and four teams in session two.  Sprouse and her staff also hosted three home gymnastic meets during the 2025 season. 

"Carly did a fabulous job running our WIAC Championship this year," commented UWL Head Gymnastics Coach Kasey Crawford. "We changed to a new format with 2 sessions/9 teams and with a NCAA round for basketball the same weekend, she made everything run without a hitch.  Her organization and attention to detail for the meet and her guidance all year long was outstanding."

Sprouse is her sixth year as the UW-La Crosse Assistant Athletic Director for Facilities and Events after serving as an assistant women's basketball coach for the Eagles from 2017-19. She oversees five department event coordinators who are responsible for managing all home athletic events, as well as two facility coordinators responsible for all daily facility needs. She supervises several student employees including student facility managers and sport management major students involved with home athletic events
