Six Named to College Sports Communicators Academic All-District® Team

La Crosse, Wis. - Six University of Wisconsin-La Crosse student-athletes have been named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District® Women's At-Large Team.

Three gymnasts were earned CSC Academic All-District honors, including senior Jessica Taylor of Overland Park, Kan. (Blue Valley), junior Grace Kehr of Coon Rapids, Minn. (H.S.) and sophomore Raina Christenson of Basehor, Kan. (Basehor-Linwood).

Senior Kaley Hendrick of Holland, Mich. (West Ottawa) and junior Megan Maloney of Cottage Grove, Minn. (Park) from the lacrosse team earned accolades.

Senior golfer Jenna Wiebke of Caledonia, Minn. (H.S.) was selected to the CSC Academic All-District® Team.

Majoring in exercise sport science with a 3.89 cumulative grade point average, Taylor won the floor exercise title at the 2025 National Collegiate Gymnastics Association (NCGA) Championships with a score of 9.900, the second-highest score on the event in UWL history. She won the floor exercise crown at four meets in 2024-25. Taylor is a two-time All-Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) honoree on the floor exercise.

She earned 2023-24 CSC Academic All-District® honors and is a four-time member of the WIAC Scholastic Honor Roll. Taylor has also been on the Women's Collegiate Gymnastics Association Scholastic (WCGA) All-America Team for three seasons.

Kehr, an exercise sport science pre-professional major with a 4.00 grade point average, won a pair of NCGA All-America honors this season, winning the national title on the vault (9.850) and finishing tied for second on the floor exercise (9.875). Her score of 9.850 on the vault is tied for the third-highest in school history. Kehr's score of 9.875 on the floor exercise was a season-high.

Kehr is a two-time member of the WIAC Scholastic Honor Roll and the WCGA Scholastic All-America Team.

Majoring in business management, Christenson maintains a 3.61 grade point average. She tied for the national title on the balance beam at the 2025 NCGA Championships with a score of 9.850.

Christenson also tied for first on the balance beam at the WIAC Championships/NCGA West Regional, recording a score of 9.825.

Hendrick is a communication major with a 3.73 grade point average. She started all 17 games this season for UWL, scoring two goals while helping the defense hold opponents to 9.94 goals per game. Hendrick was named to the 2025 All-WIAC Second Team and to the 2024 All-WIAC First Team. She was a two-year captain for UWL.

Named the 2025 WIAC Scholar-Athlete in lacrosse, Hendrick is a three-year member of the WIAC Scholastic Honor Roll. She was named the 2025 National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) All-America Strength and Conditioning Athlete of the Year.

Maloney is majoring in exercise sport science pre-professional with a 3.72 grade point average. She started all 17 games this season while earning All-WIAC First Team honors. Maloney finished second for UWL in points (61), goals (45), assists (16), draw controls (77) and shots (98) this year.

Named to the 2024 All-WIAC Honorable Mention Team, Maloney recorded multiple goals in 12 games this season.

A business management major with a 3.78 cumulative grade point average, Wiebke was named to the 2024-25 All-WIAC First Team. She placed third at the league championships while averaging a team-leading 79.8 average per round in 2024-25.

Wiebke recorded four top-five individual finishes. Along with the third-place showing at the WIAC Championships, she tied for medalist honors at the UW-Eau Claire Invitational placed second at the UWL Invitational and fourth at the UW-River Falls Invitational.

She is a two-time member of the WIAC Scholastic Honor Roll.

The 2025 Academic All-District® Women's At-Large teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in competition and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes at-large honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
 
NCAA and NAIA Women's At-Large Academic All-America® First-, second- and third-team honorees will be announced on Tuesday, July 8, 2025.
 
The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs. The NAIA CSC Academic All-America® program is partially financially supported through the NAIA governance structure.
