Northfield, Minn. - The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse Women's Cross Country team placed five runners in the top-16 as they finished second as a team at the St. Olaf College (Minn.) Invitational Saturday morning. 

THE BASICS
Results: Carleton College (Minn.) won the team title with 24 points while UW-La Crosse was second with 57 points. In third place was St. Olaf College (Minn.) with 84 points followed by UW-Eau Claire (89 points) in fourth and College of St. Benedict (Minn.) (170 points) in fifth.

HOW IT HAPPENED 

• Hannah Preisser of Carleton College (Minn.) won the individual title with a time of 22:03.2.
• Elizabeth Schwartz led the Eagles with a 10th place finish in a time of 23:13.0 while Milana Pisto finished 11th in a time of 23:16.8.
• Next for the Eagles was Annika Elliott in 12th place with a time of 23:17.0.
• The fourth Eagle to cross the finish line was Lucy Duchac in 13th place with a time of 23:19.6.
• Rounding out the scoring for the Eagles was Madison Twarling who finished 16th with a time of 23:24.0
