Lauren Jarrett of
La Crosse (Logan) has been voted to the 2025 National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division III Academic All-America® Women's Track and Field/Cross Country First Team, selected by the College Sports Communicators (CSC), the organization announced Tuesday.
It is Jarrett's second straight Academic All-America® selection after earning Second Team accolades in 2024.
Jarrett is one of 16 student-athletes named to the Academic All-America® First Team. Fourteen student-athletes were selected to the Academic All-America® Second Team while 16 student-athletes were named to the Academic All-America® Third Team. Jarrett was voted to the Academic All-District® Team in June.
An exercise sport science-pre-professional major, Jarrett maintains a 3.62 cumulative grade point average. She is a five-time member of UWL's Dean's List and two-time Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) Scholastic Honor Roll.
Lauren Jarrett won five NCAA Division III
titles this season.
Voted the track & field finalist for the 2025 Division III Honda Athlete of the Year Award, Jarrett was named this year's U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) NCAA Division III Women's Track Indoor and Outdoor Athlete of the Year. She also swept the 2025 USTFCCCA Outstanding Indoor and Outdoor Track Performer of the Meet and the North Region Indoor and Outdoor Track Athlete of the Year. Jarrett won the 60 and 200-meter dash titles at the 2025 NCAA Division III Indoor Championships and swept the 100 and 200 meter dash at the NCAA III Outdoor Championships while also anchoring the winning 4x100-meter relay.
Jarrett earned the 2025 WIAC Indoor and Outdoor Track Performer of the Meet. She won the 60 and 200-meter dash at the indoor league championships and the 100 and 200-meter dash at the outdoor championships. Jarrett was also on UWL's first-place 4x100-meter relay outdoors.
She holds the NCAA Division III record in the indoor 60-meter dash (7.29) and outdoor 100-meter dash (11.23) while ranking second in history in the indoor (23.94) and outdoor (23.44) 200-meter dash.
Jarrett is one of 17 UWL student-athlete to be named to the CSC Academic All-America® Team in women's track & field and cross country, including the eighth to earn it twice. She joins

Jarrett is the eighth student-athlete to earn CSC Academic All-America® First Team, joining Van Zeeland (1997, 1998), Franckowiak (1999), Basten (2001), Findlay (2022), Loe (2022, 2023), Halama (2016) and Lawrence (2023).
The 2025 Academic All-America® Women's Track & Field/Cross Country Teams, selected by CSC, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in the athletic realm and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
The Division III Academic All-America® program is being financially supported by the NCAA Division III national governance structure to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2024-25 Division III Academic All-America® program.
To be nominated, a student-athlete must be a starter or important reserve with at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) at her current institution.
