The three All-Sports Awards are given annually by the conference. Points for the awards are given according to the final conference standings in each sport on an 8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1 basis, or 7-6-5, etc., depending on how many schools compete in each sport. Either (but not both) indoor or outdoor track & field are included in the calculations, and the awards are determined on the basis of the lowest number of sports offered by any WIAC institution in each category (combined - 14, women - 7, men - 7).
