La Crosse, Wis. - The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse women's track & field team hosted the Uncaged Eagle Open Friday night at Roger Harring Stadium at Veterans Memorial Field Sports Complex. No team scores were recorded.
UWL won three field events and one on the track.
Madison Habberstad won the pole vault (12-11 ½) Friday with
Mackenzey Kronberg taking the triple jump (39-3 ¼) and
Maya Evans the long jump (19-1 ¼). Evans also placed second in the triple jump (39-0 ½).

Lauren Jarrett won the 4x100-meter relay (46.23).

The top-five finishers in the long jump were all from UWL. Joining Evans as the champion,
Jenna Miller was second (18-11 ¼),
Regan Scott third (18-8 ½),
Amber Grosse fourth (18-6) and
Corrin Liptak fifth (18-4 ¼).
Izzy Bender was fourth (5-4 ½) in the high jump while
Madilyn Vander Sanden finished fourth (43-5 ¾) in the shot put.
Gabby Johnson placed sixth (120-11) in the javelin throw.
UWL had four of the top-six runners in the 3,000-meter steeplechase Friday.
Lily Higgins was second (10:51.10),
Becca Immer third (10:51.72),
Ella Pahl fourth (11:43.79) and
Paige Damman sixth (11:57.11).
The Eagles had three of the top-five finishers in the 800-meter run with Ali Thomas second (2:13.88),
Kylie Stockton fourth (2:17.57) and
Ryana Mathis fifth (2:17.88).
Three sprinters were in the top-six in the 200-meter dash as Zak placed fourth (24.65), Reiland fifth (24.75) and Yang sixth (24.82).
Other top-six finishes on the track include
Andie Otto third (1:02.74) and
Gretchen McNeal fourth (1:03.05) in the 400-meter hurdles with Scott fourth (14.26) in the 100-meter hurdles.
Anna Plautz was third (11.94) in the 100-meter dash while Maddie Hecker placed fifth (58.40) in the 400-meter dash.
Karlie Meyer finished third (4:51.08) in the 1,500-meter run.
UWL returns to action Thursday, May 15 hosting the UWL Final Qualifier and competing at the Augustana College (Ill.) Final Qualifier.
