Oshkosh, Wis. - The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse women's track & field team captured its 13th straight Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) Championships (presented by Culver's) Saturday at the Oshkosh Sports Complex.
The Eagles finished 269.5 team points while UW-Eau Claire was second with 148.16 and UW-Stout third with 116. UW-Oshkosh was fourth (106.0) with UW-Whitewater fifth (97.0), UW-Platteville sixth (32.33), UW-River Falls seventh (28.0) and UW-Stevens Point eighth (22.0). Â

UWL scored points in all 21 events, including 16 events with at least 10 points.
It UWL's league record 39th WIAC Outdoor Championship in school history. UWL is ranked second in this week's U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) National Track & Field Rating Index.
UWL won five individual titles on Saturday and swept both relays.Â
Lauren Jarrett swept the 100 (11.49) and 200-meter (23.85) dash titles for the second straight season. She set a facility record in both events and a WIAC Championship record in the 200-meter dash, breaking Carly Fehler of UW-Eau Claire record of 23.94 set in 2015.Â

Anna Plautz won the 400-meter dash (55.55), becoming the first sprinter to win the event for UWL since Mara Schroeder in 2022. Plautz was fifth (24.75) in Saturday's 200-meter dash. Â

Brooklyn Luebke won the 5,000-meter run (17:15.77). She is the first runner to win the title for UWL since Emma Malooly in 2023.Â

UWL won its fourth straight title in the 4x100-meter relay on Saturday as

Makenna Zak and Jarrett set a school, facility and meet record with a time of 45.72. The relay broke the school record of 45.95 set by
Bella Seitz, Jarrett, Emma Lawrence and Emily Dawidowich in 2023. UWL broke the WIAC Championship record of 46.35 set by UW-Eau Claire in 2015. The Eagles also set a WIAC record, breaking the previous record of 45.90 set by UW-Eau Claire, also coming in 2015.

The 4x400-meter relay of
Madison Hecker,
Alli Thomas,
Sarah Grubbs and
Morgan Jennings took first Saturday with a time of 3:49.73. It is UWL's fifth straight crown in the 4x400-meter relay.

In Saturday's field events,
Maya Evans took the triple jump (38-6 1/4). She is the third straight UWL athlete to win the triple jump, joining
Samantha Barrett who placed first in 2022 and 2024 and
Miah Keller who captured the crown in 2023.Â

UWL had two of the top-four finishers in the heptathlon as
Alexys Scheuerell was third (4,393 points) and
Madeline Thoreson fourth (4,278).
Noelle Hackenmueller did not finish. Action concluded Saturday with the long jump, javelin throw and 800-meter run after competing in the 100-meter hurdles, high jump, shot put and 200-meter dash on Friday.

Other top-eight finishes on the track included Zak placing fifth (12.04), Yang sixth (12.05) and Reiland eighth (12.25) in the 100-meter dash Saturday while Jennings finished sixth (57.44), Grubbs seventh (57.69) and
Macy Reybrock eighth (57.85) in the 400-meter dash.Â

Along with Luebke's first-place finish in the 5,000-meter run,
Madelynn McIntyre was second (17:16.44) and
Julia Zalewski seventh (18:04.43).Â

In the 100-meter hurdles,
Regan Scott was third (14.59) with
Brie Eckerman sixth (14.87),
Megan Zemke seventh (14.93) and
Andie Otto eighth (15.01). Otto was UWL's top-finisher in the 400-meter hurdles, placing third (1:02.64).
Gretchen McNeal was sixth (1:03.11) and
Ava Sullivan eighth (1:03.89).Â

The Eagles' Thomas finished fifth (2:15.04) in the 800-meter run while
Lily Higgins placed sixth (4:43.24) and
Becca Immer eighth (4:44.87) in the 1,500-meter run.

Along with Evans taking first in the triple jump, UWL had four other finishers in the top-eight.
Mackenzey Kronberg was second (38-6 1/4),
Emily Blaskowski fourth (37-0 1/4),
Ashley Davies fifth (36-9 1/2) and
Josie Blum eighth (36-4 3/4).
Macie Todd tied for third (5-3) in the high jump.Â

Sydney Torgerson fifth (134-2) in the discus throw with
Madilyn Vander Sanden fourth (44-0 1/2),
Amber Grosse seventh (42-4 1/4) and
Addy Moseler eighth (42-0 3/4) in the shot put.Â
