Madison, Wis. - University of Wisconsin-La Crosse senior Sam Blaskowski of Oshkosh (West) was voted the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) Kwik Trip Track Performer of the Meet, announced the organization Monday morning.

• This is the second time Blaskowski has been named Track Performer of the Meet after winning the award after the 2022 WIAC Outdoor Championships.
• Last weekend Blaskowski defended his 2024 WIAC Outdoor Championship in the 100-meter dash by breaking his own National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Dvision III record time (10.08). Blaskowski also won WIAC Title in 2022. 
• Just a short while later, Blaskowki broke the WIAC Outdoor Championship Meet record in the 200-meter run with a time of 20.38. The event title was his third WIAC Outdoor title in the 200-meter after winning it in 2022 and 2024. 
• Blaskwoski was also a member of the 4X100-meter relay team which finished second at the Championships with a time of 39.7. 
• With his performance at the championships, Blaskowksi helped contribute to the Eagles league record 59th WIAC Outdoor Championship and 32nd in the last 33 years. 
• Next up for Blaskowski is the NCAA III Outdoor Championships May 22-24 in Geneva, Ohio. Blaskowski will be attempting to win his fourth consecutive national championship in the 100-meter dash while looking for his second consecutive title in the 200-meter dash. As a member of the 4x100-meter relay team, Blaskowki and his teammates will be attempting to win the title for the third straight season.
