La Crosse, Wis. - The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse women's track and field team hosted the UWL Final Qualifier Saturday in Hetzel Fieldhouse. No team scores were recorded as UWL won seven individual titles.

The Eagles won three field events on Saturday, including
Araceli De Leo Lopez and
Macie Todd both setting meet records. De Leo Lopez captured the pole vault (13-1 ½) while Todd won the high jump (5-7 ¾). De Leo Lopez also set a school record in winning the pole vault, breaking Angela Hilgers record of 12-11 3/4 set in 2003.

Mackenzey Kronberg won the triple jump (38-5 ½).

Other top-three finishers in the field included
Jenna Miller second in the long jump (18-7) while
Madilyn Vander Sanden was second in the shot put (44-2) and
Madison Habberstad third in the pole vault (12-5 ½).

UWL won four track events on Saturday, including
Becca Immer with a meet record (5:05.28) in the mile run.
Gwen Hinz won the 800-meter run (2:12.80),
Natalie Wees the 3,000-meter run (10:41.33) and
Madelynn McIntyre the 5,000-meter run (16:59.94).

Bryn Sato was second (5:13.80) and
Ryana Mathis third (5:20.83) in the mile run while
Alli Thomas finished second (2:12.89) in the 800-meter run.
Hanna Martensen finished second (11:16.14) and
Mackenzie Ginder third (11:17.15) in the 3,000-meter run with Lucy Duchac second (17:03.29) and
Brooklyn Luebke third (17:14.77) in the 5,000-meter run.

Makenna Zak placed second in the 60-meter dash (7.63) with
Megan Zemke third in the 60-meter hurdles (8.84).

UWL returns to action Friday, March 14 at the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division III Championships in Rochester, New York. Â
