St. Louis, Mo. - The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse women's track & field team opened its outdoor season at the Washington University in St. Louis (Mo.) Distance Carnival. No team scores were recorded.

The Eagles had four competitors in the 10,000-meter run with Lucile Duchac leading with a 12th-place finish (35:22.51). Madelynn McIntyre was 15th (35:26.00). UWL's Brooklyn Luebke placed 32nd (36:51.65) with Mallory Reiser 49th (37:32.21).

In the 3,000-meter steeplechase, Becca Immer finished 19th (11:01.26) and Katelyn Chadwick 23rd (11:09.00).

UWL returns to action Saturday, April 5 hosting the Ashton May Invitational at noon.
