NCAA Division III Central Diving Regional Website
Granville, Ohio - Five members of the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse women's and men's swimming & diving team are set to compete in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division III Central Diving Championships Friday-Saturday, February 28-March 1 at Denison University (Ohio).
Juniors

Muskego (H.S.) along with sophomore

olly Springs, N.C. (Crossroads Flex) will represent the women's squad. A total of 33 divers are entered in the women's regional.
Senior
Tony McNiff of
Princeton, Minn. (H.S.) will compete for UWL's men's squad. Twenty-one men are set to compete in the regional.
Denison University's Trumbull Aquatics Center serves as host of the regional.
The top-eight finishers on the women's side will advance to the NCAA Division III Championships while the top-six finishers in the men's competition advance. The NCAA Division III Championships are scheduled for Wednesday, March 19 through Saturday, March 22 at the Greensboro Aquatic Center in Greensboro, North Carolina.
The men's three-meter and women's one-meter competition is scheduled for 1 p.m. (Central) on Friday, February 28 while the men's one-meter and women's three-meter is set for 11 a.m. (Central) on Saturday, March 1. Action will take place in the Trumbull Aquatics Center.
Banaszak and Weber will both be appearing in their third NCAA Division III Diving Regional. Banaszak was ninth (390.35) in the three-meter and 19th (341.95) in the one-meter last season while Weber placed 13th (374.00) in the three-meter and 24th (319.70) in the one-meter.
At the 2023 NCAA Division III Regional, Banaszak placed 21st (334.15) and Weber 33rd (291.65) in the one-meter while Banaszak was 17th (357.40) and Weber 31st (322.10) in the three-meter.
Martini and DeBernardo are making their first trip to the diving regional this year.
McNiff is making his fourth career appearance in the NCAA Division III Diving Regional after finishing 12th (385.90) in the three-meter and 15th (380.10) in the one-meter last season. He placed 26th (335.65) in the one-meter in 2022 and 27th (356.60) in 2023. McNiff was 23rd in the three-meter competition in 2022 (371.80) and 2023 (392.75).
Banaszak was named the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) Diver of the Meet for the second straight season at this year's league championships. She swept the one (466.70) and three-meter (458.70) titles in helping lead UWL to the team championship. Banaszak set a WIAC Championship record in the three-meter (466.70), breaking the record of 461.0 set by UWL's Kayley Alioto in 2018.
Banaszak won the three-meter title (447.70) at the 2024 WIAC Championships and finished second (407.20) in the one-meter.
Weber finished third in the three-meter (426.55) and fourth in the one-meter (405.90) at this year's WIAC Championships after placing second in the three-meter (429.25) and third in the one-meter (404.55) in 2024.
At this year's league championships, Martini was second in the one (427.60) and three-meter (458.10) while DeBernardo placed third in the one-meter (413.75) and fourth in three-meter (407.75).
McNiff was third in the three-meter (442.10) and fourth in the one-meter (403.95) at the 2025 WIAC Championships. He finished second (472.90) in the three-meter competition and fourth (428.45) in the one-meter last season.
