Men's Track and Field Wins Three Events and A Relay At University of Minnesota Gary Wilson Invitattional

La Crosse, Wis. - Members of the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse men's track and field team competed at the Minnesota University Gary Wilson Invitational Wednesday afternoon.

TRACK EVENTS

800-meter run - Cael Schoemann just missed breaking his own outdoor record (1:49.29) in the 800-meter run as he won the event in a time of 1:49.60.
110-meter hurdles - Luke Schroeder finished fifth in the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 14.40.
400-meter hurdles - Dirk Lueck won the 400-meter hurdles with the fifth fastest time (52.68) in the NCAA DIII this season.
4x400-meter relay - The relay team of Collin Conzemius, Chase Doornink, Addison Hill and Caden Pearce ran the second fastest time (3:11.96) this season in the NCAA DIII to win the 4x400 relay.
3000 meter Steeplechase - UWL had three of the top four finishers in the 3000-meter steeplechase with Joey Sullivan finishing first with a time of 8:49.37. Finishing just behind Sullivan was teammate Mason Brown (8:56.70) in second while Jayden Zywicki (8:58.63) finished fourth.
1500-meter run - Michael Madoch finished second in the 1500 meter run with a time of 3:47.27.
