Men's Track and Field Competes at UWL Qualifier; Eagles Win Five Individual Titles

La Crosse, Wis. - The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse men;s track and field team hosted the UWL Qualifier Saturday afternoon at the Fieldhouse.

FIELD EVENTS

Triple Jump - Nick Crary won the triple jump with a mark of 46-10 1/4 to lead five Eagles in the top seven. Carter Pearson (45-3 1/2) finished fourth while Brody Kluge (45-0 1/4) was fifth, Gabe Olsen (44-6 1/4) sixth and Christian Crumbaker (41-5) seventh.
Long Jump - Andrew Hermes won the long jump with a jump of 23-8 1/4. Pearson (22-0 3/4) finished fifth and Triton Schmidt (21-10 1/4) was seventh.
Pole Vault - The Eagles placed three pole vaulters in the top seven with Ashton Moody finishing tied for second with a mark of 15-6 1/4. Andrew Tumminaro was fourth (15-6 1/4) while JT Zell was tied for seventh (15-01/4).
Shot Put - Spencer Prats was the top Eagle finisher in the shot put with a mark of 52-3 3/4.
Weight Throw - Logan Powers finished seventh in the weight throw with a mark of 56-11 1/2.

TRACK EVENTS

60-meter hurdles - Chad Thompson Jr. was sixth in the 60-meter hurdles in a time of 8.20.
60-meter dash – Spencer Reichart finished fourth in the 60-meter dash with a time of 6.91.
200-meter - Collin Conzemius won the 200-meter run with a time of 22.01 while Ethan Turbeville was fifth (22.13) and Spencer Reichart seventh (22.26.
400-meter - UWL had two of the top three finishers in the 400-meter run with Chase Doornink winning the event in a time of 48.64. Andrew Hackbarth finished third in a time of 49.22.
800-meter - Michael Madoch won the 800-meter run in a time of 1:52.65 and Owen Klaus was second in a time of 1:54.43.
Mile - Jayden Zywicki led five Eagles who finished in the top seven of the mile. Zywicki was second with a time of 4:08.62 while Aidan Manning (4:11.22) was third, Christopher Wolfe (4:12.97) fourth, Zach Slein (4:21.69) sixth and Elias Ritzke (4:23.24) seventh.
