La Crosse, Wis. - The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse women's basketball team's dropped a Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) matchup with UW-Stout Wednesday night at Mitchell Hall.

HOW DID IT HAPPEN
- UW-Stout opened the game on an 11-4 before Katie Waukau hit a three-pointer to cut UWL's deficit to 11-7 with 6:07 left in first quarter. UW-Stout would extend their lead to 21-9 before Waukau, Lindsey Knuth and Lauryn Milne hit back-to-back-to-back three-pointers to pull within three at 21-18 with 2:38 left. After Raegan Sorensen jumper gave the Blue Devils a 27-21 lead, the Eagles scored the final four points to trail 27-25 at the end of the first quarter.
- The Blue Devils scored 14 of the first 16 points of the second quarter to take a 41-27 lead. The Eagles cut their deficit to 41-33 before the Blue Devils scored 14 of the final 18 points to lead 55-37 at the half.
- UW-Stout shot seven-of-11 (63.6%) from the floor and five-of-six (83.3%) from the free throw line in the third quarter as they extended their lead to as many as 28 (76-48) with :53 left in the quarter.
- The Eagles would hold the Blue Devils to eight points in the fourth quarter but would only get as close as 80-69 (1:05) after a three-pointer by Ella Jordan.

- Paige Schumann chipped in eight points and six assists while Knuth added eight points and a team high seven rebounds.
