Friday's Results
Rochester, Minn. - The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse women's swimming & diving team completed second day action at the Rochester Invitational Friday night at the Rochester-Olmstead County Recreation Center Natatorium.
The Eagles are in fifth-place with 685.0 team points. Minnesota State University Mankato leads the 10-team invitational with 1,179.5 points.
Joanne Banaszak recorded UWL's top individual finish on Friday, placing third (415.85 points) in the one-meter diving competition with
Hannah Martini finishing sixth (384.50).
UWL's
Jordy Hahlen was fifth (57.53) and
Autumn Seebach eighth (58.49) in the 100 backstroke.
Other top-16 finishes on Friday included
Abi Schauske 11th (4:44.37) in the 400 I.M. while
Natalie Austin was 15th (1:08.20) and
Callie Klepp 16th (1:08.48) in the 100 breaststroke.
Ava Pulvermacher placed 16th (1:59.25) in the 200 freestyle.
The Eagles' 200 freestyle relay of
Emily Schoenbrodt,
Brooke Laube, Mikayla Knaffla and
Libby Cleveland were seventh (1:37.70) while Hahlen,
Callie Klepp, Austin and Cleveland placed 12th (3:58.01) in the 400 medley relay.
Action concludes Saturday, December 7 with preliminaries at 9 a.m.
