Des Moines, Iowa - The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse men's track & field team completed action at the Drake Relays on Saturday. No team scores were recorded.

UWL's Sam Blaskowski placed third (10.29) and Ryder Smith eighth (10.62) in Saturday's 100-meter dash final. 

The Eagles' 4x400-meter relay of Chase Doornink, Caden Pearce, Payton Flood and Addison Hill finished third (3:12.33) on Saturday. 

UWL's 4x100-meter relay of Smith, Blaskowski, Spencer Reichart and Luke Schroeder did not finish Saturday's final. The relay won its heat in Friday's preliminaries with a school record time of 40.07. The time breaks the record of 40.18 set by Seth Holden, Troy De Bruin, Reichart and Josh Koenecke set in 2021.

UWL returns to action Friday, May 5 at the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) Championships at UW-Whitewater.
