UWL had won the last 30 league championships.

The Eagles' Sam Blaskowski swept the 100 (10.14) and 200 (20.80) meter dashes Saturday. He becomes the second straight UWL sprinter to sweep the 100 and 200-meter dashes after Seth Holden accomplished the feat in 2021. Blaskowski is the 19th sprinter in WIAC history to sweep the 100 and 200-meter dashes at the same championships, including the seventh for UWL. Reggie Rabb (1982), David Coates (1992), Danny Tutskey (2000), Alex Rooker (2008), Ernest Winters (2016) and Holden (2021) won both events.

Blaskowski's time of 10.14 in the 100-meter dash ranks second in NCAA Division III history.

Ethan Gregg captured the 5,000-meter run (14:34.88) Saturday with teammate Isaac Wegner finishing second (14:36.99). It is Gregg's second title at this year's championships after winning the 10,000-meter run on Friday. He is the second runner in school history to win the 5,000 and 10,000-meter run in the same championships, joining Greg Barczak in 1985.
