Geneva, Ohio - The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse women's track & field team remains in second-place after the second day of action Friday at the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division III Championships at SPIRE Institute. The Eagles have recorded 21.0 team points.
Johns Hopkins University (Md.) leads with 22.0 points with Loras College (Iowa) third with 19.0, Westminster College (Pa.) fourth with 16.0 and the University of Mount Union (Ohio) fifth with 15.0. Massachusetts Institute of Technology is sixth (14.0) followed by Worcester Polytechnic Institute, Mass. (13.0) in seventh. UW-Platteville and UW-Eau Claire are tied for eighth (12.0) while Carroll University (Wis.) and Ithaca College (N.Y.) are tied for 10th (11.0).

Hannah Zenkovich and
Skylar White earned NCAA III All-America honors in the heptathlon on Friday with Zenkovich finishing second with 5,101 points and White eighth with 4,690. It is Zankovich's second career All-America honor in the heptathlon after placing third in 2021. She captured the NCAA III indoor title in the pentathlon at the 2022 championships.
Zenkovich also earned All-America accolades at this year's outdoor championships with a seventh-place finish in Thursday's long jump.
White picked up her first career NCAA III Outdoor All-America honor with her eighth-place finish on Friday. She placed eighth in the pentathlon in this year's indoor national meet to earn her first career All-America award.
Skylar White
Athletes competed in the long jump, javelin throw and 800-meter run in the heptathlon on Friday after competing in the 100-meter hurdles, high jump, shot put and 200-meter dash on Thursday.
UWL's
Skye Digman placed ninth (45-7) in the shot put on Friday while
Olivia Owens tied for 15th (5-3 1/4) in the high jump. Digman captured the national crown in the discus throw Thursday.
In track preliminaries Friday, the Eagles'
Emma Lawrence advanced to Saturday's 100-meter hurdles final with a qualifying time of 14.32. UWL's
Mara Schroeder failed to advance to the 400-meter dash finals a preliminary time of 57.28 on Friday.
