Waverly, Iowa - The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse men's track & field team competed at the Wartburg College (Iowa) Qualifier Saturday night. No team scores were recorded.
UWL's
Isaac Wegner won the 5,000-meter run (14:45.81) Saturday while
Michael Madoch was second in the mile run (4:10.45).
The Eagles' 4x400-meter relay of Addison HIll,
Payton Flood,
Sam Mrochek,
Caden Pearce placed fourth (3:18.46).
In the field events,
Aiden Williams placed second (59-8 1/4) and
Michael Lampman fifth (56-7 1/2) in the weight throw.
Logan Larson finished third (15-5 1/2) and
Tommy Knoche eighth (14-11 1/2) in the pole vault.
Andrew Hermes finished sixth (21-2) in the long jump.
UWL returns to action Friday, March 11 at the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division III Championships in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
