La Crosse, Wis. - The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse women's track & field captured the UWL Tribute Triangular Friday night at Roger Harring Stadium at Veterans Memorial Field Sports Complex. The Eagles finished with 142.0 team points while Gustavus Adolphus College (Minn.) placed second with 108.0 and UW-Stout third with 46.0.
UWL recorded 11 individual first-place finishes Friday, including five in the field events. Abby Meidl won the pole vault (11-6 1/4) while Gabby Johnson captured the javelin throw (98-4). Nicole Lord placed first in the long jump (18-6 1/2). Skye Digman was first in the discus throw (148-7) while Pamela Gramer took the hammer throw (169-8).
On the track, the Eagles' Kelly Aldrich won the 100-meter dash (12.09) with Emma Lawrence capturing the 100-meter hurdles (14.42). Hannah Holm captured the 400-meter hurdles (1:07.14), Katie Banie the 400-meter dash (59.03) and Claire Koenecke the 800-meter run (2:19.09).
Lawrence, Anna Ayd, Platzbecker and Banie won the 4x400-meter relay (3:57.84).
Other top finishers on the track included Savannah Rygiewicz placing second in the 100-meter dash (12.19) with Aly Reuvers third (12.33), Haley Durst fourth (12.57) and Lucy Fashingbauer fifth (12.75). Aldrich was second (25.14), Emily Dawidowich third (25.20), Rygiewicz fourth (25.28), Reuvers fifth (25.50) and Hannah Zenkovich sixth (25.83) in the 200-meter dash.
Zenkovich also placed third (14.58) in the 100-meter hurdles while Clair Shepardson was fourth (14.91) and Amanda Wiebke sixth (15.83). UWL's Brooke McDowell placed second (1:07.38) in the 400-meter hurdles.
In the 400-meter dash, Amber Johnson took second (1:00.13) while Platzbecker finished fifth (1:02.30) and Melanie Kunze sixth (1:02.87). Lauren Zwack placed second (2:35.00) in the 800-meter run.
In Friday's field events, Ashley O'Connell was second (11-0 1/4) in the pole vault while Maddie Hansen finished third in the high jump (4-11 1/2). Zenkovich took second (17-11 1/2) in the long jump with Wiebke third (17-3 1/4), Mykenzie Vaassen fourth (16-8 3/4) and Hansen fifth (16-8 1/2). Jessica Stelzner finished second (36-9 3/4) in the triple jump and Kemmesha Thomas fourth (34-8 1/4). 
UWL's Izzy Carroll placed fourth (120-7) in the discus throw while Digman took third (42-4), Brianna Schyvinck fourth (42-11 1/2), Sarah Hulstedt fifth (40-11 1/2) and Nicole Blagsvedt sixth (37-8 1/2) in the shot put. In the hammer throw, Schyvinck was second (160-10), Digman third (160-5), Leah Surprenant fourth (152-6), Katheryn Horne fifth (147-6) and Olivia Mattson sixth (142-2).
Lawrence placed third (97-7) and Carley Elmhorst fourth (76-5) in the javelin throw.
