What you like about your job? I love how I am able to see the impact I have on this team - whether it is shown through our success, the athletes' attitudes or just their overall progress. It is a humbling experience to know that I have made a mark within the program..
The thing you most like about the Coulee Region? UWL gymnastics is what I love most about the Coulee Region. If it were not for this team and
Kasey Crawford, I would not be here..
Favorite memory of working in athletics? My favorite memory would have to be when the gymnastics team was competing against UW-Stout last year, and we went into our last rotation (balance beam) with a lower overall team score than the opposition. Beam is the primary event I coach, so watching the girls finish that last event with such confidence, poise, and skill; I was speechless. When the last gymnast completed her routine, we all awaited her score and when it flashed, I began to cry. In that moment, I knew we had come back to win the meet, and I was so overwhelmed with joy.
What you like that would surprise those who know you? I like going to the gun range. I like shooting and I have a good eye!
Favorite food? Wings/Gumbo (only my dad's).
App? FACETIME - I will literally have anyone on FaceTime, and pretend like they are in the room with me!
Emoji?
You can always count on me to laugh at something!
Vacation spot? I am going to Antigua next year, and I have a feeling it may be my favorite. But currently, I would say somewhere in Florida.
