Indianola, Iowa - The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse gymnastics team won all four events for the second week in a row as they defeated Simpson College (Iowa) 193.150-188.150 Saturday afternoon.

Next Up: The Eagles will return to action on Sunday, February 1st when they travel to DeKalb, Ill. to compete at Northern Illinois University. Competition is scheduled to start at 1 p.m.
 

         
HOW DID IT HAPPEN
    VAULT

• As a team, the Eagles scored a 48.125 on the vault while Simpson scored a 47.725
• Paige Breckwoldt won the vault with a 9.750 to lead three Eagles in the top four. 
• With a 9.650, Cobi Powell finished tied for second with Simpson's Emmie Barton. 
• Also finishing in the top four was Grace Kehr as she recorded a 9.625. 

    UNEVEN PARALLEL BARS

• UWL took home the top three spots on the uneven parallel bars as they scored a 48.000 as a team. Simpson finished with a team total of 45.400.
• For the second meet in a row, Claire Robbins won the uneven parallel bars as she recorded a 9.775. 
• Finishing right behind Robbins with a 9.725 was teammate Madalyn McCormick while Lauren Main of UWL and Evalyn Resnick of Simpson tied for third with a 9.575. 
• Rounding out the top five was Eagle Ava Sitek with a 9.550. 

    BALANCE BEAM

• The top four finishers on the balance beam were Eagles as they scored a 48.800 as a team.
• McCormick and Raina Christenson both scored a 9.825  to tie for top score on the balance beam. 
• Tying for third place was Eagle teammates Lucy Warren and Main as they recorded a 9.750. 
• Resnick was the top finisher with a 9.675 for Simpson as they finished with a team score of 48.025. 

    FLOOR EXERCISE

• Breckwoldt would win her second event of the day as she finished with a 9.750 on the floor exercise. 
• In second place was UWL's, Hunter Matulka, with a 9.675.
• Robbins would finish third overall as she scored a 9.625 while Mckenna Myers tied for fourth with a 9.600. 
• As a team, UWL scored a 48.225 on the floor exercise while Simpson finished with a 47.000.
