La Crosse, Wis. - UW-La Crosse Intercollegiate Athletics is featuring senior student-athletes from the fall who had their seasons canceled due to the COVID-19 public health threat. Our senior being recognized today is

UWL finished 7-3 overall and 5-2 in the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) in 2019. The Eagles went 5-0 at home, recording their first undefeated season at home since going 4-0 in 2006.
Grewal played in one game in 2019.
Why did you choose UW-La Crosse?
I chose UWL for the opportunity to play college football and pursue a quality degree in a fantastic city.
Major and minor?
Economics major and professional & organizational communications minor.
Plans after graduation?
I plan on pursuing a dual degree, JD, and MBA, at a top university.
Favorite professor and class?
Right now, my favorite class is Intermediate Microeconomics, ECO 308, with Professor Lisa Giddings. Professor Giddings is unique in the way she teaches and thinks about the world. Not only does she do a great job of lecturing over Collaborate Ultra, but she also sends numerous articles and links to what she is reading and thinking about - which are often incredibly complex and fascinating.
Favorite place on campus?
Veterans Memorial Stadium. We are incredibly blessed to be able to play on that field with that view, it is beyond description.
Best part of being in athletics?
The best part of being athletics is being part of a family. As student-athletes, we are privileged, because of the sacrifices we make, to have the network and connections we have on this campus, with other students, faculty, and UWL alums. I love meeting former UWL football players, it's one giant family. Along with those connections is the platform we have, and especially this year with the Eagle Advocates, I am looking forward to using my platform and experiences to positively affect our community.
