Las Vegas, Nev. - The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse wrestling team went 3-0 in the Desert Duals Sunday at the Flamingo Hotel.  The Eagles improve to 4-2 on the season with their three wins. 

UWL, ranked ninth on the National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) Division III Poll, opened the day with a 21-15 victory over 10th-ranked North Central College (Ill.).  The Eagles followed with a 41-7 victory over Trine University (Ind.) and ended the duals with a 35-7 win over Minot State University (N.D.), a member of NCAA Division II.

The Eagles went 22-8 in overall dual matches on Sunday with four wrestlers going 3-0.  Josh Stenger (133), Hayden Schlough (141), Grant Zamin (157) and Mitch Hertel (174) all went 3-0 on the day.  Stenger earned one win by technical fall and one by major decision while Schlough had one win by major decision.  Zamin finished with one win by fall and one by technicall fall with Hertel earning two wins by major decision. 

UWL's Sawyer Sarbacker (125) and Jackson Schoen (165) each went 2-0 in the duals with Schoen earning one of his victories by fall. Tristan Jenny (125) went 1-0 for the Eagles.
