Augsburg (Minn.) University Invitational Results
Bloomington, Minn. - The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse women's cross country team, ranked 13th in the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) NCAA Division III, placed second at the Augsburg University (Minn.) Invitational Saturday at Hyland Greens Golf Course.

The Eagles finished with 101 team points while the University of Minnesota-Duluth won the team title with 88. St. Olaf College (Minn.) placed third (122), the University of St. Thomas (Minn.) fourth (128) and UW-Eau Claire fifth (135). A total of 24 teams competed.
UWL's
Hannah Beilke placed ninth overall Saturday with a time of 24:38.2 on the 6,000-meter course. The Eagles'
Sarah Ziolkowski placed 17th (25:05.4) while
Andrea Brekken was 24th (25:20.8),
Whitney Ebert 25th (25:22.1),
Ellie Miller 26th (25:23.0) and
McKenzie Kirtz 29th (25:27.1).
Brittany Gagas finished 42nd (25:43.5),
Jaci Hinz 47th (25:52.1) and
Anna Buchberger 48th (25:53.2).
Others finishing in the top-100 included
Kaylan Marshall 52nd (25:57.0),
Claire Koenecke 54th (25:58.5),
Madeline Sweeney 55th (26:00.6),
Kayli Buchli 63rd (26:14.6),

A total of 312 runners completed the race. Sam Slattery of UW-Eau Claire won the individual title (23:32.7).
