UW-La Crosse 187.500, UW-Stout 186.350

Menomonie, Wis. - The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse gymnastics squad earned a 187.500 to 186.350 victory over UW-Stout Friday night in Johnson Fieldhouse.
The Eagles scored 46.850 on the vault; 46.525 on the uneven parallel bars; 46.575 on the balance beam; and 47.550 on the floor exercise.
UWL captured individual titles in three events.
Dani Barmore won the vault title with a score of 9.550, while
Jessica Ahrens took the crown on beam (9.675), and
Sam Weyker earned the top score on the floor exercise (9.675).
On the bars,
Brooke Kachinsky finished third (9.600), with
Lauren Wilson fourth (9.550),
Molly Lyngaas fifth (9.375), and
Breghan Kiloran sixth (9.300).
Other top finishers for the Eagles included a second place finish for Weyker on beam (9.525) and a third place finish on vault (9.400). Wilson tied for second on floor (9.600) with
Amy Enright fourth (9,575). Barmore was third on beam (9.500).
"Tonight was not our best performance, but many athletes were able to step up and hit through the falls," said UWL Head Coach
Kasey Crawford. "Overall, it showed where we need to step up quick and we are all in to do just that."
