Box Score 4 Cedar Rapids, Iowa - The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse volleyball team, ranked 18th on the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Top-25 Poll, opened its 2017 season going 4-0 at the Mabel Lee Invitational at Coe College (Iowa) September 1-2.

Amber Dunn, defeated St. Norbert College (Wis.) 3-0 (29-27, 25-17, 25-17) and Grinnell College (Iowa) 3-1 (25-21, 25-11, 24-26, 25-15) September 1 followed by a 3-0 (25-5, 25-13, 25-11) win over Northland College (Wis.) and 3-0 (25-13. 25-16, 25-13) victory over Westminster College (Mo.) September 2.
UWL's
Madison Entinger and
Stephanie Henk were both named to the all-tournament team. Entinger recorded 108 assists (9.82 per set) and 46 digs (4.18). She recorded three double-doubles in four matches, finishing with 31 assists and 14 digs versus St. Norbert (Wis.), 41 assists and 21 digs versus Grinnell (Iowa) and 26 assists and 11 digs against Westminster (Mo.).
Henk finished with 42 kills (3.82 per set) while hitting .382 in four matches. She recorded double-digit kills in three matches, finishing with 15 against St. Norbert (Wis.), 13 versus Grinnell (Iowa) and 12 versus Westminster (Mo.). She recorded two double-doubles, finishing with 11 digs versus Grinnell (Iowa) and 10 against Westminster (Mo.). Henk also had 32 digs (2.91) and six aces (0.55) in the invitational.
Marisa Johnson had 11 kills and team-high 25 digs in UWL's win over Grinnell (Iowa) while finishing with a team-high eight kills and eight digs versus Northland (Wis.).
Kathryn Maas finished with nine kills in the victory against Westminster (Mo.).
UWL returns to action Wednesday, September 7 at city-rival Viterbo University (Wis.) at 7 p.m.
