La Crosse, Wis. - The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse wrestling team went 2-1 Saturday at the Candlewood Suites Duals in Mitchell Hall Field House. The Eagles, ranked 17th on the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division III National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) Top-25 Poll, are now 3-1 on the season. UWL fell 25-9 to top-ranked Wartburg College (Iowa) in its opening dual before coming back to earn a 36-6 win over Concordia College (Minn.) and a 40-3 victory over Cornell College (Iowa).

UWL is now 19-2 all-time in the duals, which started in 2011. Along with Saturday's loss to Wartburg (Iowa), UWL fell 29-7 to NCAA Division II St. Cloud State University (Minn.) in 2011. St. Cloud State (Minn.) was ranked first in NCAA Division II for the match.
