Amber Dunn has been voted the 2017 WIAC Coach of the Year.
It marks the second consecutive season UWL had three players named to the All-WIAC First Team after Henk,
Madison Entinger and
Jill Entinger earned the honor in 2016. It is the fifth time in school history at least three players earned all-conference first team honors.
Angela Muenkel, Kris Kozlovsky and
Shana Brevig earned 1997 All-WIAC honors.

Susan Ketter and
Linda Ladwig were first team selections in 1986 while
Jennifer Bridges,
Judy Hansmann,
Kathy Johnson and
Jean Zenz earned first team awards in 1979.
Henk becomes the first player in league history to earn the WIAC Offensive Player of the Year twice after also claiming the award in 2016. She is one of four players in school history to earn WIAC Player of the Year honors, joining Muenkel (1999),
Laura Wagner (2004) and
Jill Entinger (2015). Entinger was named the 2015 WIAC Co-Offensive Player of the Year. The WIAC started honoring an offensive and defensive player of the year in 2014. It is Henk's third career all-conference honor after also being named to the 2015 honorable mention team.
Madison Entinger
Named to the 2016 America Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) All-America Second Team, Henk also earned AVCA All-Midwest Region First honors a year ago. She was selected the WIAC Player of the Week three times in her career, including the league's offensive player of the week August 28-September 3.
Playing in all 25 matches this season, Henk leads UWL in kills (302), points (351.5) and aces (30) while ranking third in and digs (225). She is third in the WIAC in kills (3.47) and points (4.04) per set while ranking sixth in aces per set (0.34) and 18th in hitting percentage (.212).
She has recorded double-digit kills in 18 of 25 matches this year, including a season-high 22 versus Luther College (Iowa) October 7. Henk hit .360 (22-4-50) against the Norse. She hit a season-high .524 (12-1-21) versus Westminster College (Mo.) September 2. Named to the Coe College (Iowa) Mabel Lee Invitational All-Tournament Team September 1-2, Henk has 10 double-doubles (kills-digs) this season.
Henk ranks fifth in school history in career kills (1,196) and seventh in attempts (3,146). She is one of 10 players in UWL history to record 1,000 career kills. Henk has 679 career digs and 126 career blocks.
Entinger earned her second career all-league recognition after being named to the 2016 first team. Playing in all 25 matches this season, she leads UWL and ranks third in the WIAC in assists per set (10.08). Entinger has recorded 877 assists, including a season-high 56 against Luther (Iowa) October 7. She is second on the team with 240 digs (2.76) and tied for third in aces with 23 (0.26). Entinger has 11 double-doubles (assists-digs) in 2017, finishing with a season-high 21 digs versus Grinnell College (Iowa) September 1.
She was named to the Coe (Iowa) Mabel Lee Invitational All-Tournament Team September 1-2 and Wartburg College (Iowa) All-Tournament Team October 6-7.
Entinger is seventh in school history in career assists (2,681). She has 659 career digs. Selected to the 2016 AVCA All-America Honorable Mention Team, Entinger led the WIAC and ranked second in National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division III in assists per set (11.16) last year. She was also named to the 2016 AVCA All-Midwest Region First Team.
Marisa Johnson
Johnson picked up her first career All-WIAC accolade Thursday. She has played in 20 matches this year and ranks second on the team with 194 kills (2.81) and tied for third with 23 aces (0.33). Johnson is tied for the seventh in the conference in aces per set (0.33) while ranking 10th in points per set (3.38) and 11th in kills per set (2.81).
She has double-digit kills in 10 matches this year, including a season-high 17 at Saint Mary's University (Minn.) October 18. Johnson has five matches with at least 10 digs, including a season-high 25 versus Grinnell (Iowa) September 1.
Johnson has 392 career kills, 1,186 attempts and 432 digs.
Barnabo was named to the 2017 All-WIAC Sportsmanship Team, chosen for individuals that displayed exemplary sportsmanship throughout the season. It includes one member from each school. Barnabo leads UWL with 382 digs while being sixth in the WIAC with 4.60 per set. She has double-digit digs in 20 matches, including a season-high 25 versus Elmhurst College (Ill.) September 22.
Halle Barnabo
She was named to the Augsburg University (Minn.) All-Tournament September 8-9, recording 54 digs (5.40 per set) in four matches. Barnabo, who earned a volleyball letter at UW-Green Bay in 2014 before transferring to UWL, has compiled 862 career digs in three seasons for the Eagles.
Dunn, in her first year as UWL's head coach, is the fifth coach in school history to earn WIAC Coach of the Year honors. UWL has earned the league coach of the year award the last three seasons after
Lily Hallock was voted the 2015 and 2016 selection.
Sharlene Peter (1987),
Peggy Voisin (1992) and
Sheila Perkins (2003) also earned league coach of the year accolades.
UWL, picked to finish third in the 2017 WIAC Preseason Poll, earned its 12th regular-season title in school history this year under Dunn. The Eagles, 19-6 overall and 7-0 in the WIAC, won their third straight conference title. UWL, receiving votes on this week's AVCA Top-25 Poll, have won 13 of its last 15 matches. The Eagles are ranked sixth in this week's NCAA Division III Midwest Region.
Prior to coming to UWL, Dunn served as head volleyball coach at The State University of New York at Geneseo for two years. She led SUNY Geneseo to a 17-15 overall record in 2016, qualifying for the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) Tournament for the first time since 2011. Dunn served as an assistant volleyball coach at UW-Stevens Point from 2012-14.
A native of Hancock, Wisconsin, Dunn earned her bachelor's degree from Viterbo University (Wis.) and her master's degree from UW-Stevens Point. She was a four-year member of the Viterbo (Wis.) volleyball team from 2007-11, including three-year starter.
UWL returns to action Thursday, November 2 hosting UW-Oshkosh in the WIAC Championship Semifinals. Top-seeded UWL and fifth-seeded UW-Oshkosh are scheduled to play at 7 p.m. in Mitchell Hall. Second-seeded UW-Eau Claire hosts third-seeded UW-Whitewater in the other semifinal November 2 at 7 p.m. The semifinal winners advance to the championship match Saturday, November 4 at the highest remaining seed. The tournament winner earns the conference's automatic bid to the NCAA Division III Championships.
