Box Score Oshkosh, Wis. - The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse women's basketball team 57-44 Saturday afternoon at Kolf Sports Center. The Eagles drop to 7-16 overall and 1-11 in the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) while the Titans improve to 19-4 overall and 10-2 in the conference.

Rachel Atchison's layup with 4:52 got UWL on the board. The Titans scored the next five points to lead 13-2 before back-to-back jumpers from
MaKenzie Miller and
Elise DeNoyer cut the lead to 13-6. UW-Oshkosh led 15-6 at the end of the first quarter.
The Titans scored the first five points of the second quarter to take a 20-6 lead, but the Eagles went on a 8-2 run to cut the deficit to 22-14 with 5:56 left in the half. UW-Oshkosh scored the next eight points of the game to take a 30-14 advantage with Eliza Campbell scoring six of the eight points. UWL cut the deficit to 30-17 on a pair of
Jenna Anderson free throws with :06 remaining, but Marissa Selner's three-point field goal at the buzzer gave UW-Oshkosh a 33-17 halftime lead.
UW-Oshkosh opened the second half on a 7-0 run to lead 40-17 with 5:45 remaining in the third quarter. UWL later cut the lead to 40-24 with 3:05 left, but UW-Oshkosh led 46-26 at the end of the third. The Eagles could get no closer than 12 points in the fourth quarter.
UWL shot 43.2% from the field, including missing all five of its three-point attempts, and 70.6% (12-of-17) at the free throw line. Miller led the Eagles with 15 points while Atchison finished with 13.
UW-Oshkosh shot 35.3% from the field, including 35.7% (five-of-14) from three-point range, and 64.0% (16-of-25) at the line. Campbell led the Titans with 13 points.
UWL returns to action Wednesday, February 17 hosting UW-Eau Claire at 7 p.m. in its regular-season home finale.
