Minneapolis, Minn. - The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse volleyball team dropped a pair of matches at the Augsburg College (Minn.) Invitational Saturday afternoon.  The Eagles, now 4-4 on the season, fell 3-0 (25-10, 25-22, 25-20) to Augsburg College (Minn.) and 3-0 (25-22, 25-22, 25-20) to top-ranked the University of St. Thomas (Minn.).

UW-L's Crystal Ziegler was named to the all-tournament team.  She recorded 40 kills, 25 digs and seven blocks in four matches.

Versus Augsburg, Ziegler led UW-L with 10 kills with Haley Molzner finishing with seven. The Eagles hit .103 for the match. Cassie Raduka recorded 24 assists.

Ziegler and Courtney Geisler each had 10 digs.

St. Thomas is ranked first on the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Top-25 Poll. Lauren Probst led UW-L with 16 kills against the Tommies while Ziegler recorded 14. The Eagles hit .173 as Raduka finished with 41 assists.

Danica Johnson had a team-leading 19 digs while Geisler and Probst each finished with 11.

UW-L returns to action Wednesday, September 11 at Saint Mary's University (Minn.) at 7 p.m.
