Box Score 4 Eau Claire, Wis. - The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse volleyball team won three of four matches Friday-Saturday at the UW-Eau Claire Tournament held in McPhee Physical Education Center. The Eagles won both of their matches Friday, defeating UW-Stout 3-0 (25-16, 25-21, 25-20) and the University of Minnesota-Morris 3-0 (29-27, 25-19, 29-27).
UW-L split its two matches Saturday, defeating Gustavus Adolphus College (Minn.) 3-0 (25-15, 25-22, 25-18) before falling to 17th-ranked Augsburg College (Minn.) 3-0 (25-19, 25-19, 25-23). The Eagles are now 10-10 on the season.
Versus UW-Stout,
Crystal Ziegler led UW-L with 10 kills while hitting .529 (10-1-17).
Kayla Ashland recorded nine kills and
Jill Entinger eight. Ashland hit .350 (9-2-20) and Entinger .429 (8-2-14).
Cassie Raduka finished with 37 assists as the Eagles hit .284.
Courtney Geisler had a team-high 12 digs while Ashland recorded a team-leading six blocks. Entinger had five aces.
Against Minnesota-Morris,
Lauren Probst finished with 15 kills while hitting .367 (15-4-30). Ziegler and
Haley Molzner each had 12 kills and hit .281 (12-3-32). Raduka had 41 assists as UW-L hit .232.
Geisler had 17 digs.
In the win over Gustavus Adolphus, Probst recorded a team-leading 10 kills while Ziegler and Entinger each had nine. Ziegler hit .474 (9-0-19) and Entinger .429 (9-3-14). Raduka recorded 35 assists with the Eagles hitting .310.
Geisler and Probst each had seven digs.
Versus 17th-ranked Augsburg, Ziegler had 12 kills and Molzner seven. Raduka had 31 assists with UW-L hitting .170.
Probst led UW-L with 12 digs while Geisler had 11. Entinger had three blocks.
UW-L returns to action Friday, October 18 at the UW-Platteville Quadrangular. The Eagles face Simpson College (Iowa) at 5 p.m. and the University of Dubuque (Iowa) at 7 p.m.
