Wisconsin Dells, Wis. - The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse wrestling team earned a pair of wins over ranked opponents Friday night at the Wisconsin Dells Center at the Chula Vista Resort. The Eagles, ranked second in NCAA Division III, defeated third-ranked Coe College (Iowa) by the score of 19-12 and sixth-ranked Saint John's University (Minn.) by the score of 20-15. UW-L is now 11-1 on the season.
The Eagles took six of the 10 matches in their win over Coe.

UW-L and Saint John's split its 10 matches Friday night.
Joey Nelson (125), Sheley (133), Yewah (141), Schmitz (174) and
Billy Mayer (285) earned wins for the Eagles.
Sheley is ranked second in the country and improves to 13-3 on the year with his two victories. Yewah (12-0) and Schmitz (15-0) are both ranked first in NCAA Division III while Mayer (6-3) is fourth.
