Matt Kelliher

Matt Kelliher begins his third season as an assistant coach for the UW-La Crosse women's basketball team in 2014-15.  He also works in the UW-La Crosse Foundation Office.  Kelliher served as the girls' varsity basketball head coach at Mount Horeb (H.S.) High School from 2010-12.  

Prior to being named head coach at Mount Horeb, Kelliher was an assistant women's basketball coach at Edgewood College (Wis.) from 2006-09.  The Eagles advanced to the Northern Athletics Conference (NAC) Tournament Championship game in 2007-08 and recorded their highest winning percentage in school history in 2008-09, finishing 19-7 (.731) overall.

A 1996 graduate of UW-L in recreation management, Kelliher earned one letter for the Eagles' basketball team under head coach Randy Handel.

Kelliher has also served as the James Madison Memorial (Wis.) High School Boys' Varsity and Junior Varsity Assistant Coach; Onalaska (Wis.) Eighth Grade Boys' Basketball Coach and Wisconsin Heights High School (Mazomanie, Wis.) Freshman Boys' Basketball Coach.

He has served as an instructor at the Bo Ryan Basketball Camps as well as the Showtime Sports Camp. Kelliher has also worked as a claims specialist for Noon's Flooring in Middleton (Wis.).
