Brittany Baldwin

Brittany Baldwin starts her third year as a full-time assistant softball coach at UW-La Crosse in 2026-27. She also serves as an assistant facilities and events coordinator. 

The Eagles went 23-17 overall and 7-7 in the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) in 2026, earning a bid to the league tournament. Carmen Follette and Amber Gonzalez were named to the All-WIAC First Team while Brooke Howard and Marissa Pease earned honorable mention awards. Lindsay Steien was selected to the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) All-Region VIII Third Team. 

UWL finished 22-19 overall and 7-7 in the (WIAC) in 2025, advancing to the league tournament. Howard and Kyra Lard earned All-WIAC First Team honors with Bryne Bieri being selected to the honorable mention team. Lard was also named the WIAC Judy Kruckman Scholar-Athlete.

Baldwin served as an interim assistant softball coach for the 2024 season. UWL finished 24-19 overall and 9-5 in the WIAC in 2024, tying for third in the league standings. The Eagles had four players, Howard, Lard, Jordyn McCormack and Elise Weinzierl, voted to the All-WIAC First Team. Lard was named the WIAC Position Player of the Year and McCormack the WIAC Scholar-Athlete. Remington Stark was an all-conference honorable mention selection.

A native of La Crosse, Baldwin graduated from Central High School in 2014. She was a four-year letter winner at UWL from 2015-18, earning All-WIAC honors all four seasons. Baldwin was named to the 2016, 2017 and 2018 All-WIAC First Team and to the 2015 honorable mention team. 

She was also voted to the 2017 NFCA All-Region Second Team. 

Named the 2018 WIAC Judy Kruckman Scholar-Athlete, she earned her bachelor's degree from UWL in recreation management in 2018. 

Baldwin is UWL's career leader in stolen bases (76) while ranking sixth in career runs (110) and tied for seventh in hits (173). She also holds the single-season school record for stolen bases (35 in 2017). Baldwin was a career .367 hitter.
